R.J. Keating
Special mention should be made here regarding the well known Manchester artist R.J. Keating. His love of the place inspired a painting which can be seen in the bar. It was ‘Bob’s’ most loved work! (The late R.J. Keating now rests in Highgate Cemetery).

Nearby, Kenwood House is famous for its’ outdoor music concerts in summer, where you can bring a picnic and watch the fireworks too. The house, owned by English Heritage, has an art collection worth visiting for its’ Rembrandts and other old masters set in an elegant neoclassical interior.
